Here at Firehouse Septic, we are a small, locally owned, family business that prides ourselves with putting our customer service first. In order to best serve the most customers possible, we have several policies in place when booking appointments. The first and foremost is our service area. We keep a concise service radius in order to maximize the amount of people we are able to get to and help with their septic needs. Our service area includes most of Fayette County and most of Coweta County, which entails, Peachtree City, Tyrone, Sharpsburg, parts of Newnan, parts of Fayetteville and parts of Senoia. Unfortunately, we do not service any cities outside of Fayette or Coweta County. There are multiple reasons for this, some of which include distance and access to septic drawings. Beyond our service area, there are a few factors we take into account when deciding if we will be able to service an address. One main factor is accessibility to both the tank and the house itself. We are a one man run truck and safety is paramount to us. For that reason, we are unable to do jobs if they are on a busy / major road where there is no where for us to turn around the septic truck with the trailer attached. We also look at tank accessibility when determining if we are able to take a job. We use a mini excavator to access the tank lids and we need at least a 50” clearance to get through any gate. So for tanks in the back yard, we always check the size of the gates if there is a fence. Also, for tank accessibility, we check to see if there may be anything built over the tank. When you call to book an appointment with us, we will ask several questions regarding your location and accessibility in order to determine if we will be able to service your address. We ask these questions so we do not waste your time by showing up to a house that we are unable to service. If you have any further questions about our service area or accessibility please feel free to give us a call at 770-616-3838.
